ReadyRef is a flag football referee and scoreboard app. The ref runs the game from a phone; everyone else follows live in any browser.

A touchdown should not become a group chat debate. ReadyRef turns one referee action into the score, play log, and live fan view — without anybody refreshing. One flag football app covers live scoring, watch codes, season scheduling, and standings.

Every game gets a code. Parents, players, and fans open it in any browser and follow the clock, score, downs, reactions, and play-by-play.
ReadyRef understands downs, rushes, timeouts, possession, intervals, and the messy moments between plays — the flag football rules a generic sports timer never learned. See the full referee scoreboard →
Live score. Play-by-play. Reactions. Predictions. Momentum. The people watching get a reason to stay in the game instead of asking what happened.

In the ReadyRef fan view, a spectator is asked who scores first and taps Home. The answer locks in, Home scores a touchdown, and the prediction resolves as correct — banking 25 Game Score on the game's Top Fans leaderboard.
Rank progress
680 / 1000 Fan Score to Season Regular
When the referee submits the score, ReadyRef writes the game up: the final, every score in order, lead changes, and the top fans in the stands. Drop the link in the team chat and it arrives as the score card.
Generate flag football schedules, find conflicts, assign referees, publish the season, and let final scores flow into standings and brackets.

Yes. The full app runs in Safari at readyref.app/app with nothing to install. A native iPhone app is in development. On Android, get ReadyRef on Google Play.
Mostly, yes. You can map calls like next down, clock start/stop, and flag to the phone’s own volume buttons or to any paired Bluetooth remote — a clicker, ring remote, or camera shutter. Bluetooth remotes work in the browser app too; volume buttons, and presses with the screen off, need the Android app, where haptic feedback confirms each one.
Yes. League tools cover registration and payments, schedules, assignments, conflict detection, standings, tournaments, and a public league website. Tournaments and larger seasons need a paid plan.
Yes. ReadyRef is built for youth flag football leagues, school and church programs, and adult recreational play. Girl-play counters, rush limits, and configurable downs handle the rule sets youth leagues actually run, and public league sites never publish player names.
Yes. Build single-elimination brackets or round-robin pools, seed by standings, manual order, or random draw, and let final scores advance the bracket automatically.
